Import Operations
You follow import shipments from booking abroad to arrival in Egypt, so our clients always know where their cargo is and what happens next.
- Full time
- Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said or Cairo Airport
- Saturday to Thursday, 9:00 to 17:00
What you will do
- Follow sea and air import shipments from origin booking to arrival at the Egyptian port or airport.
- Work with our overseas agents and the shipping lines and airlines on bookings, documents and arrival notices.
- Check the bill of lading or air waybill, invoice and packing list before the cargo arrives.
- Hand shipments over to our customs clearance team and arrange delivery to the client.
- Keep clients updated at every step, by phone, WhatsApp and email.
- Keep every shipment up to date in our operations system.
What we are looking for
- Experience in import operations at a freight forwarder or shipping line.
- Knowledge of import documents and how shipments arrive at Egyptian ports and Cairo Airport.
- Good written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Organised, calm under pressure, and quick to follow up.
