Two ways to move it.
By sea
For most cargo from India, such as cotton yarn, chemicals and machinery. A full container (20ft, 40ft, 40HC) when you have the volume, a shared container when you don't, and consolidation when you buy from several suppliers, so everything travels as one container with one set of documents.
Most sailings leave from the west coast, Nhava Sheva near Mumbai or Mundra in Gujarat, and some from Chennai or Kolkata. Cargo arrives at Sokhna on the Red Sea, or goes through the Suez Canal to Alexandria, El Dekheila, Damietta or Port Said. We compare both for each booking.
Sea freightBy air
For urgent, light or high-value cargo such as medicines, samples and spare parts. Flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru land at Cairo Airport, where our branch works in the Cargo Village.

Which Indian ports do you ship from?
Any Indian port with a sailing to Egypt. The main ones are Nhava Sheva (JNPT) near Mumbai, Mundra, Chennai and Kolkata. If your supplier is inland, we arrange collection from the factory.
What goods do importers bring from India?
The largest categories are frozen meat, organic chemicals, machinery, and cotton yarn and fabric. Most travel by sea. Medicines and urgent spare parts often go by air. Tell us what you are importing and we check what it needs at Egyptian customs.
I buy from several suppliers in India. Can it come as one shipment?
Yes. We collect from each supplier, load everything together and ship it as one container with one set of documents.
What does my supplier in India need to do for Egyptian customs?
Register on CargoX and upload the shipping documents under the ACID number you send them. You, as the importer, get the ACID on Nafeza first, and every document must show it.
