Two ways to move it.

By sea

For most commercial cargo from the UK, from a few pallets to full containers. A full container (20ft, 40ft, 40HC) when you have the volume, a shared container when you don't, and consolidation when you buy from several suppliers, so everything travels as one container with one set of documents.

Cargo from the UK sails into the Mediterranean and reaches Egypt without crossing the Suez Canal: Alexandria, El Dekheila, Damietta or Port Said. We pick the port that suits the sailing and where the goods go in Egypt.

Sea freight

By air

For urgent, light or high-value cargo such as spare parts, medicines and samples. Flights from Heathrow and other UK airports land at Cairo Airport, where our branch works in the Cargo Village.

Questions about shipping from the UK.

Which UK ports do you ship from?

Mainly Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway, and Heathrow for air. We arrange collection from the factory or warehouse anywhere in the UK, including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Is this a parcel or courier service?

No. We move commercial cargo for businesses importing into Egypt, and household moves (personal effects and furniture shipped as freight): pallets, shared containers and full containers by sea, and cargo by air. For a single small parcel, a courier is usually the simpler choice.

Do I need a EUR.1 to pay less customs duty in Egypt?

Goods of UK origin can enter Egypt with lower or zero duty under the UK-Egypt Association Agreement, but only with valid proof of origin, such as a EUR.1 or an origin declaration on the invoice. Your supplier in the UK issues it. Rules of origin in the region changed in 2026, so we confirm with you which proof Egyptian customs accepts before the goods ship.

What does my supplier in the UK need to do for Egyptian customs?

Register on CargoX and upload the shipping documents under the ACID number you send them. You, as the importer, get the ACID on Nafeza first, and every document must show it.
