Which Italian ports do you ship from?
Any Italian port with a sailing to Egypt. The main ones are Genoa and La Spezia in the north, Naples and Salerno in the south, and Venice and Trieste on the Adriatic. If your supplier is inland, we arrange collection from the factory.
Do I need a EUR.1 for goods from Italy?
Goods of EU origin can enter Egypt with lower or zero duty under the EU-Egypt Association Agreement, but only with valid proof of origin, such as a EUR.1 or an origin declaration on the invoice. Your supplier in Italy issues it. The rules of origin changed in 2026, so we confirm with you which proof Egyptian customs accepts before the goods ship.
Can you ship machinery and production lines from Italy?
Yes. Machinery is the largest category Egypt imports from Italy. Machines travel in standard containers, or on open-top and flat-rack containers when they are too large, and spare parts can follow by air.
